@Gargron But this was something I felt would be a decent idea few years ago already. I would want to be able to issue a temporary key to my apartment for my friends with just a few clicks, without having to do tricks like key under the doormat (or talking to neighbors, bleh).
Or if you go on vacation and want your neighbors to water the plant or whatever.
@pony @Gargron My dad did this with his apartment when he went on vacation and wanted me to come and water his plants since at the time he had a keypad entry apartment with a key backup. The code expired after a week because of how he set it but that’s all that was needed.
